Verizon Wireless, which had been limited to wireless devices for its Relevant Mobile Advertising program, has now gone one step ahead to make the advertising easier for mobile advertising companies.
The New Jersey-based company is going to target computers and laptops of its customers to find out the browsing history of its costumers so it can provide the same to the companies involved in mobile advertising.
To be simple, Verizon is going to expose the browsing history of its customers to mobile advertisers.
However, the company is pretty open about its new move and terms the step beneficial for the customers.
“In addition to the customer information that’s currently part of the program, we will soon use an anonymous, unique identifier we create when you register on our websites,” Verizon Wireless informs customers.
If you are a Verizon Wireless customer and think that your PC or laptop browsing history should not be exposed and sold to mobile advertisers, we have got solution for you.
