The scary blank blue screen is becoming a nightmare for Apple customers who have bought the new iPhone 5S recently. Many iPhone 5S users are complaining about a bug in their iPhone 5S on Apple and iPhone discussion forums. They say that the screen of their iPhone 5S suddenly turns blue and the phone restarts by itself after few seconds.
The bug seems to be active while doing just about anything like browsing internet, running apps, reading messages and working on iWork. Complains of a bug are piling on iPhone’s discussion platforms such as Apple Support Community and MacRumors.
On Apple discussion forum a user named mease87 writes “I just got the new iPhone 5s in slate grey 32GB and i have At&t. When using my phone going in and out of apps, my phones screen will suddenly turn solid blue for about 2 seconds then the apple logo will appear and it restarts my phone. Anyone else having this issue? It seems to happen more when i am exiting apps back to the home screen.”
Another iPhone 5S user versaceboy54 posted similar concern saying “I am having the same problem myself when using the pages app to open my saved resume and then trying to email it to someone. If i do that then go to open the notes app that I have a typed message I want to copy and paste in the same email, as soon as I paste it in the email the screen goes blue and restarts. I have a feeling this is just a glitch that apple needs to correct not something from a corrupt backup that we installed from our old phones. Most of us seem to be having the same issue with the same apps. I hope this is fixed soon.”
The iPhone discussion forum is filled with hash tags like blue screen, iPhone 5S and reboot and topic like iPhone 5S screen keep turning solid blue, Apple please help. We have not seen any official response from Apple on the issue yet but we expect the company to come up with a quick fix soon.
