Apple has finally shown its latest iPhone 6 to the entire world and the Indian market is also going to get this iconic device pretty soon.
The iPhone 6 is expected to arrive in India on October 17 and with the arrival of this latest smartphone from Apple, an obvious battle between the two biggest smartphone leaders in the world – Apple and Samsung – will begin once again.
The day Apple was taking the wraps off the iPhone 6, Samsung went ahead with the release of its Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini in India.

Talking about the display size and resolution, Apple’s iPhone 6 comes with a 4.7 inch IPS LCD touch display which has a resolution of 750×1334 pixels. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini sports a 4.5 inch super AMOLED HD display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels.
When it comes to the powerhouse of the devices, Apple stays behind Samsung as it powers its iPhone 6 with the latest A8 dual-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz. However, the Galaxy S5 Mini is powered by Samsung’s own quad-core Exynos 3 processor which is also clocked at 1.4 GHz. In the RAM department also Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini beats the iPhone 6 as the Mini comes with a 1.5 GB of RAM and the iPhone 6 is limited with only 1 GB of RAM.
The shooters’ section is also very important and Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini seems to be matching iPhone 6 here. The Galaxy S5 Mini comes with an 8 megapixel primary camera with 2.1 megapixel secondary one. Apple has also packed an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera into the iPhone 6 but when it comes to the front-facing snapper, you find only 1.2 megapixel camera. Both the devices have the LED flash light support. But Apple puts killer hardware in the camera that enables it to produce much better images than Galaxy S5 Mini or even 16 megapixels Galaxy S5 for that matter.
The iPhone 6 will run iOS8 by Apple’s latest iOS 8 which has got its own advantages where as the Galaxy S5 Mini is going to run Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
Price of the iPhone 6 has not been released by the company yet but the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini is available for Rs 26,499.
