Apple recently announced the new Watch OS 2, the software for next Apple wearabale and now Apple Watch 2 rumors claim to give us more insides of next Watch. Reports from South Korean publisher quote Apple experts who predict next Watch’s display and release date.
As per MK News (G for Games Report) Apple Watch 2 will feature P-OLED display designed by LG electronics that has also designed display for original Apple Watch.
LG’s own smartwatch features P-OLED and allegedly offer much brighter resolution compare to usual LCD. The display is a lot more flexible thanks to plastic subtract that enabled LG to produce first round smartwatch with such display. Does that mean we may see a circular Apple Watch 2 ? Well if there is anything to it we may soon see it in Apple Watch 2 rumors roundup on the web.
It’s notable that LG came out as the biggest smartwatch display screen supplier in 2015 thanks to immense success of Apple Watch. Sadly, LG’s brilliant display was still not enough to make its own Smartwatch a success story.
On the other hand the report also builds some speculation around the launch of Apple Watch 2. It say that Watch’s release will follow yearly cycle and we may see the next generation Apple Watch in April this year.
Contrary to this report many tech experts have another theory for Apple Watch. Following the announcement of Watch OS 2 in WWDC 2015 some believe that Apple may release its wearable alongside iPhone in September.
While next generation Apple Watch’s arrival in September sounds appealing it is highly unlikely. September arrival will break the yearly cycle and may eventually kill potential sales of original Watch.
