Messenger, one of the flagship messenger services, is going to be available for Android and iOS devices very soon. According to a Reuters report, the Canadian mobile phone maker is going to roll out its BBM service to Android and iOS on September 21.
The BlackBerry Messenger is going to be available for Android devices running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean or higher versions, on September 21.
The users of Apple’s iOS will have to wait for one more days as the BBM download link will go live for iOS 6 and iOS 7 users on September 22.
In Samsung Galaxy devices, the BBM service will be available via Samsung Messaging Hub. According to Samsung, its African users will be able to use the new service on September 20 only.
Earlier, there were rumors that the BBM service will be exclusive for Samsung devices for the first three months from its release. But it seems that the short message service is going to be available for all the Android users from day one.
