After it’s not so successful renaming of the company and the launch of new smartphones and a whole new operating system for them, BlackBerry has kept most of its hopes on its newly released BlackBerry Z3 smartphone.
The BlackBerry Z3, which was initially launched in Indonesia with codename Jakarta, is now being launched in some more countries with the hope of reviving the company’s almost lost credibility.
The Canadian tech giant, which named itself to BlackBerry from Research in Motion (RiM) in the year 2013, launched the BlackBerry Z3 smartdevice in Indian market late last month and the smartphone is already giving tough competition to popular smartphones like Motorola’s Moto X and Moto G, Xolo Q1100.
Although, the BlackBerry Z3 has got into the budget segment of the Indian market where the presence of its rivals is very strong, the smaller sibling of BlackBerry Z 10 has some strong points that can make Moto X, Moto G, Moto E and Xolo Q1100 feel belittle.
Here are some reason why this latest BlackBerry 10.2.1 OS powered BlackBerry Z3 can be a kill the popularity of Moto G and Moto E.
The ‘Hub’ connects everything: If you are somebody who stays connected with different email, social media and chat apps most of the times, BlackBerry Hub is going to manage all of these accounts for you with just some taps. The BlackBerry Z3 Hub is customizable so you can prioritize your notifications, mange your different accounts and if need be filter notifications and messages by putting different criteria.
Brows with lightning fast BB 10.2.1 browser: The BlackBerry Z3 comes with the BB 10.2.1 browser which is fast, userfriendly and very very smooth with loads of new options. The browser works with such speed that BlackBerry didn’t even feel the need of launching an app for the famous YouTube. The browser comes with a reader’s mode and sharing options which is integrated BlackBerry Hub.
A keyboard that knows you: Most of the smart keyboards available out there, use a dictionary to suggest words to their users. But the BlackBerry keyboard reads the habits of its users and suggests the next word on the basis of their usage and typing patterns. It learns your writing style and suggests words to help you type faster, more accurately and with the least amount of effort. And if you tend to mistype certain letters, the keyboard will remember and subtly adjust to make sure you hit the right key.
On the specification front, the device is a full touch smartphone with a 5-inch display. BlackBerry Z3 is powered by Qualcomm MSM8230 Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU. There is some good storage capacity with 8GB internal storage that can be extended to 32GB using a microSD card. The device has 1GB of RAM and runs BlackBerry 10.2.1 OS.
When it comes to shooters, BlackBerry Z3 sports a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.1-megapixel front snapper. The device is available in India for Rs 15,999.
