Indian smartphone market is getting bigger and bigger every day as new devices are making entry without break. Latest in the lot is Gionee’s Pioneer P3 smartphone that is going give some serious competition to some not so popular mobile makers, and may be to some popular ones too.
Although the Chinese tech company has been in India for quite some time, Gionee’s presence is being felt by its rivals and Indian consumers after it released Gionee Pioneer P2 smartphone running Andorid 4.2 on a dual-core processor for just Rs 6,999.
Improving on the success of the Gionee Pioneer P2, the company has released its successor, Gionee Pioneer P3, for just Rs 7,499.
The Gionee Pioneer P3 comes with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz and sports a 4.3 inch display with 800×480 pixel resolution display. However, when it comes to RAM, Gionee has not put much support as the Pioneer P3 comes with only 512 MB of RAM just like of Pioneer P3.
When it comes to multi-media, the Pioneer P3 has a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera with an LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera.
To make the gaming experience and graphics apps’ functioning proper, Gionee has put Mali 400 MP GPU in the device. The smartphone comes with a 4 GB inbuilt memory that can be expanded up to 32 GB with the help of a microSD card.
The device carries a 1,700 mAh batter which is capable of delivering 8 to 12 hours of talktime and a stand by time that can go beyond 10 days.
