How old do you look? Microsoft’s How Old Robot is daring to raise the formidable age question to put you (the picture you) under the scanner and tell your age. The IT giant has launched a website “How-Old.net “that is designed on a creative and fun software that guesses your age and gender by scanning your picture.
Within hours of its launch the How Old Robot took the web by storm as celebrities and netizens started uploading pictures of them and others to test drive this fun tool. Going with the flow we also decided to take this Robot for a spin and check out if India’s famous Bollywood faces and politician look their age.
First up on the list is India’s hottest young couple from B-town Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, as you can see even How Old Robot think they have a lot in common (even age). The 32 year actor and 31 year actress both look 27 that is almost 5 year younger than their age. What can we say “Glamour Charm” played a trick on the robot perhaps.
Next we tested out the most talked about filmy couple of our time Abhi and Aish in separate pictures and that’s where it got interesting. The junior Bacchan look pretty close to his age but India’s world known beauty Aish dropped more than 10 years from her real age as she appears only 28 for How Old Robot.
While we are talking about celebrities how can we leave star politicians behind who are as famous or even more popular than movie stars.
It appears that white bearded face and responsibility of the whole nation added some numbers to our PM Modi’s face as he looks 5 years older than his age. On the contrary according to how old robot 68 years old Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi is much younger.
However, don’t panic if How Old Robot add number to your face in first, second or several attempts. Microsoft if still working to improve features of its robot and if you upload a picture bulkier than 3 MB chances are you may get a faulty age. Overall, its a fun way to waste your time by trying to fool the computer or letting it get better of you.
