Apple Inc seems to be in really hurry to release the final version of its recently announce iOS 8 mobile operating system as it release the second beta version of the OS just in the second week from the announcement.
The Cupertino-based tech giant has released the iOS 8 Beta 2 for developers so they can quickly have a glance at the software’s performance, quality and the newly added features.
The iOS 0 Beta 2 has reportedly come with some bug fixes and some completely new features so the iOS users don’t have to take much time for finishing their day-to-day works.
The most exciting and talked about inclusion in iOS 8 Beta 2 is the Podcasts application. The app was available in the App Store and was completely free to download. But the app has now found its direct way into the Apple device. Podcasts has now become a native app of iOS 8 Beta 2 which means the app cannot be deleted from the devices running on iOS 8.
Apart from Podcasts, iBook will also be a pre-installed app for iOS 8 as it was brought in with the iOS 8 Beta 1.
Apple has also made iPad user happy with the introduction of QuickType keyboard for the tablet. The function was introduced for iPhone users only in the iOS Beta 1. So the iPad users can now key in their messages with suggestion typing.
According to developers, iOS 8 Beta 2 has improved from its predecessor and has also become faster and smooth.
The company has also changed many things like Brightness, Safari, settings and some icons. The brightness toogle in the settings menu under the Wallpaper and Brightness was not working in the iOS 8 Beta.
The Message section icons have been changed and the microphone and camera buttons which were blue earlier have now been given gray colour.
The most exciting thing in the iOS 8 Beta 2 version is the Batter Usage App: The Battery Usage by App menu in the Settings menu now includes a setting that lets you know about the power consumption of your phone that too you can check the power status of your apps too.
There will still be so many things to be done to make the Gold Master iOS 8 so it can go for a public release in some weeks.
