The fight to become the king of ‘selfie’ smartphone in the budget category becomes tough with the arrival of Karbonn’s new Titanium S19.
The Karbonn Titanium S19 has made its entry into the Indian smartphone market with a bang as it comes with a whopping 13 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera. The presence of Sony Exmor sensor in both front and rear side of the Titanium S19 is going to make it a hot cake due to the rise craze of selfies and video calling.
The front camera of the smartphone lets you take high quality selfies and you can also enjoy seamless video calling with the camera’s infrared function.
Apart from the camera, the Titanium S19 comes with MediaTek’s powerful quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. The performance of the smartphone will be kept smooth with the presence of a 1 GB RAM.
When it comes to storage, Karbonn Titanium S19 has 8 GB of internal storage and it also supports 32 GB of external memory with the help of a microSD card.
The smartphone sports a 5 inch HD IPS display with One Glass Solution technology. The Titanium S19 runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and is juiced by a performance oriented 2000 mAh battery.
For a price of Rs 8,999, Karbonn’s this smartphone looks a pretty good return for money but the performance of the device is yet to be mark by its users.
Going by the performance history of Karbonn’s earlier products, there shouldn’t be any problem but in this competitive budget segment things should be taken with a pinch of salt.
Talking about the Titanium S19, Karbonn Executive Director Shashin Devsare said, “Selfies are increasingly becoming a medium of self expression among youth contributing to its phenomenal popularity across social media platforms.Catering to the consumers’ demand for smartphones equipped with superior camera features, Karbonn has launched a dynamic smartphone device powered with advanced photography features and interactive camera apps for superior picture and video quality.”
