LG looks all set to unveil its upcoming smartphone, the LG G4, during its April 28 event. But, before the Korean company shows the LG G4 to the world, leaked images have already revealed more than expected about the successor of the LG G3.
A series of press shots of the LG G4 has been found online and all the pictures give away almost all the details one wants to get about this one of the most awaited devices of the year.
LG has also released a video teasing the display quality of the LG G4 which seems to be a killer for its competitors. The 5.5 inch Quad HD IPS Quantum display is developed by LG Display. The key component of the display with 120 percent colour gamut was unveiled by LG earlier this month. The display has a huge edge on its contemporary displays as it comes with 50 percent more contrast ratio and 30 percent increase in the brightness.
To make the new device more popular among the fans, LG India has invited people to review the device even before it gets launched in the Indian market.
About the programme, Mr. Amit Gujral, Marketing Head, LG Mobiles India said, “A smartphone doesn’t solve its purpose if it tops all the speed and benchmark tests but fails to satisfy the consumer needs. Realizing this, LG India is bringing this exciting and unique way to get our most important mobile product of the year, the LG G4, close to the consumers. I hope that the consumers like this offering by LG and participate in large numbers in this programme.”
The consumers who are interested in participating in this programme are encouraged to check the LG India’s website and its Facebook and Twitter pages for more information.
According to leaked specifications of the LG G4, the device is going to come with a 5.5 inch screen with 2560×1440 pixel display. The LG G3 also had the same display. The new smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 processor with hexa-core CPU.
The RAM of the device will be kept at 3 GB with 32 GB of internal storage. Camera-wise, the LG G4 is expected to arrive with a 16 megapixel primary camera couple with an LED flash. The front camera can be a big advantage for the LG G4 as it is expected to be of 8 megapixel.
As far as design is concerned, the LG G4 doesn’t look much different from LG G4 as the volume and power buttons are place on the back.
