Motorola is trying to repeat the success of Moto G with another low end model Moto E which is going to be much sleeker and compact than its predecessor. According to a Mexican website Xataka that specialize in Androids Motorola is gearing up to launch a new smartphone called Moto E.
The specs of the upcoming Moto E are almost similar to Motorola’s best selling model Moto G but this next Moto supposedly features much thinner and more solid body. As per the report Moto E will feature 4.3 inch display screen with 720 p display. It may have 1.2 GHz processor and 1 GB RAM which is exactly the same as Moto G.
The change may come in Memory segment where Moto E might have 4GB of internal memory on board but sport a micro SD slot for expandable memory. It is said to have dual sim option and 1900 mAh battery. Moto E may run on the latest Android 4.4 and have 2G and 3G support.
The frame size of Moto E is said to be 124.8X 64.8X6.2mm which makes it one of the thinnest smartphone in the market. It would be interesting to see how Motorola manages to peel the layers of hardware’s and casing without puffing the price of its next low budget model.
According to a Mexican network provider Telcel the new Motorola Moto E will be in available in the market within few weeks. Motorola will be hoping to set another benchmark with this new model that will cost almost similar to Moto G but have more eye appeal.
If Motorola launch its upcoming model Moto E in coming weeks it would be a second low end Moto to be launched in Mexico after Moto G Forte.
Although there is no news on Moto E’s arrival in India we expect it to be I the under 15,000 category like the Rs 12,499 8GB Moto G and 16 GB Moto G that cost 13,999 or less.
