Indian mobile phone customers, who want smartphones in their hands without using much money, have suddenly started getting so many options in the market.
The options are increasing every day and now the leader of the market, Micromax, has come up with a new phone in its Bolt series.
Micromax silently released the Bolt A61 Android-based smartphone and the phone gives a lot for the money you will be spending for it.
The Bolt A61 is a rough and tough Android device as all the hardware of the phone is packed inside a stylish metallic chassis unlike other smartphones that come covered in a plastic body.
Apart from the wrapping, the device is going to impress you with its 4-inch 480×800 megapixel TFT touchscreen display.
The device is powered by a single-core processor clocked at 1 GHz and supported by a 256 MB of RAM. The internal memory of the phone is just 512 MB but it can be extended up to 16 GB has Micromax Bolt A61 comes with a microSD slot.
When it comes to camera, the Bolt 61 has a 2 megapixel rear-facing camera for pictures and videos, and a VGA front-facing camera for video chat. Bolt 61 is packed with a 1500mAh battery that seems to be quite decent. The phone will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.
More importantly, the smartphone comes with 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity that is quite unusual in products of this range. The Bolt A61 comes pre-loaded with Hike Messenger, Spuul, Opera Mini and Kingsoft Office Suite.
There is nothing much that can be discussed about the Micromax Bolt 61 but the Indian customers are going to go after this device as the company has put it up for sale for only Rs 4,999 that is way less than other smartphone products.
Micromax recently launched Micromax Canvas Juice A77 and Micromax Canvas HD A116i to increase its portfolio of affordable Android smartphones.
The smartphone is now available on Micromax’s official website as well as its stores for the same price.
