
Microsofts new Gaming console X Box One is finally making its way to India after 6 long months of its first launch. According to an announcement made by Microsoft during a media briefing at the high profile X Box E3 2014 event in Los Angeles California the new X box One will be available in Indian market from 23 September 2014 at the price point of 39,999.
The price of new Microsoft gaming console matches price of rival PlayStation 4 in India which was launched in the country just weeks after its official US launch. However Rs 39,999 is going to buy you just the game console as you need to shed extra 6,000 rupees to get X box One with Kinect sensor.
While Sony’s PlayStation is focused on gaming Microsoft’s X Box one is more like an entertainment machine that offers games, movies, music in one place. X Box One has 8-core x86 processor to power this lean mean machine. Also on board is 8 GB RAM and 500 GB memory to store along with a blue ray player that is part of the console.
The new Kinect comes with improved voice, vision and motion technology that makes it much more intuitive than older version. Its smart gesture control, immediate sharing, live game recording, TV play and Skype video chat on Voice command are some of the features that might please consumers.
The new Microsoft gaming device offer free access to Windows 8’s SmartGlass App that allows users to switch games between tablets, phones and computers. The SmartGlass App works with all major mobile platforms like iOS, Android and Windows Phone.
Microsoft is also offering Free X BOX One Live Gold membership with the purchase that gives you the ticket to advanced multi players, free games and exclusive membership discount on X Box store.
