Motorola’s three flagship smartphones – Moto X, Moto G and Moto E – have been a huge hit across the world. But in the Indian market, the three devices have broken almost all the records during their launch only. The Indian users of the Moto X, Moto G and Moto E will now be really excited as Motorola has started rolling out the Android 4.4.4 KitKat updated for the trio.
Confirming the arrival of the Android 4.4.4 KitKat for the Moto E and its other two bigger siblings, Motorola India tweeted, “We’ve begun rolling out Android, KitKat, 4.4.4 for Moto E, Moto G & Moto X this week in India! Expect an update on your #Moto soon!”
However, the company’s India specific Twitter handle didn’t elaborate on the changes this Android 4.4.4 KitKat version will bring to Moto E, Moto X and Moto G handsets. The latest tweet on the handle give a little glimpse of what is there inside the latest firmware.
Although the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update doesn’t bring major changes for the Moto devices, it is still recommended to update these smartphones especially the Moto E as the new version of the operating system brings some security features.
“Android KitKat 4.4.4 update will give you all the features of Android KitKat 4.4.3 with an extra layer of security for browsing web content on your #Moto. The rollout is a gradual process and all your handsets will receive the update soon. Thanks for your patience,” Motorola India tweeted.
The Android 4.4.4 KitKat update will soon be available for Moto E, Moto G and Moto X users over the air (OTA) and updated the device on to the next version of Android is just a child’s play.
