
The Desi mobile maker has introduced a new smartphone Micromax Unite 2 in the market to compete Motorola’s beast Moto E. The Micromax Unite 2 has big 4.7 inch screen with 400X800 WVGA display and comes at affordable price of Rs6,999 same as Moto E.
The Smartphone gets its name Unite as it come loaded with 21 Indian languages fonts like Hindi, Gujrati, Marathi, Maithali, Sindhi and Dongari etc. It also allows you save your contact in various languages with the Reverie Phonebook.
Micromax fire up the competition in the software section by offering latest Android in “Unite 2” that makes it the first Micromax Mobile to run Anroid 4.4 KitKat out of box. The Smartphone is powered by 1.3 GHz quad core processor and loaded with 1 GB RAM. The device has 4 GB Internal memory and Micro SD slot for expandable memory of up to 32 GB.
Unite 2 is equipped with 5 megapixels rear camera and 2 megapixels front camera that gives it an edge against Moto E that doesn’t feature a secondary camera. It can record 720p videos and has a back flash for better picture in dark.
Micromax Unite 2 sports 2000 mAh battery that promises 8 hours of talk time and 190 hours of standby time. It has 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS for location tracking, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB slot for connecting to other devices.
The smartphone is available in four color options like Pristine White, Balmy Green, Mystic Grey and Ragging Red. Unite 2 is also loaded with various apps such as Kingsoft, Getit, Operamini, M! Live, Hike, MAd, MiGames and Games club, Reverie Phonebook and Smartpad.
