It looks like Nokia fever week here in India as the Finnish company gives a series of surprises to its Indian fans. First the most affordable features phone Nokia 130, then Windows 8.1 Lumia Cyan update and now the company has released the low price player of Lumia series – Nokia Lumia 530 Dual SIM.
The new Windows Phone based smartphone is now available on the company’s online store.
The Nokia Lumia 530 comes with a 4 inch TFT display with a pixel density of 245 pixels per inch. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. The smartphone has 512 MB of RAM packed inside which is going to be quite sufficient for a Windows Phone device.
Though people will compare the size of the RAM with Android devices that mostly come with 1 GB of RAM but it should always be considered that Windows Phone operating system is lighter than Android and requires less RAM for smooth functioning.
Apart from RAM, the internal memory of the smartphone is 4 GB but the support limit for external memory is of up to 128 GB with the help of a microSD card.
There is only one camera available in the Nokia Lumia 530 and there is no front camera so the device is not ideal for video chat. The sensor is of 5 megapixel that can also record video of 480 pixels with the rate of 30 frames per second.
The device, as the name suggests, supports two GSM SIMs at a time and you can changes the dual SIM settings according to your usage.
The Nokia Lumia 530 is going to make you feel young as it comes in funky orange colour but it also comes in white and grey colours if like you like your device to look little elegant.
The device runs Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box and costs Rs 7,349 that puts it under budget phone’s category.
