OS Experience, a new jailbreak app lets you make most of your iPad and turns it into a multitasking machine with OS X like features. The new tweak gives iPads users what iOS couldn’t, the freedom to operate multiple desktop at the same time.
OS Experience is like an amalgamation of operating systems for Mac and iPad as it allows you to have up to five desktop configurations at the same time. Surprisingly, OS Experience also let you run native apps in the window mode while operating different desktop configuration.
The whole desktop to native apps transformation depends a lot on gesture but that has to be the thing with iPad, after all it is not Mac.For example a five finger pinch lets you switch between the homesceen and OS Experience default set up. Once you are on OS Experience page you can open any webpage and, minimize it and close it easily with one finger.
The downside of this tweak is that by switching iPad users will lose traditional iOS 7 feature like control center while using OS Experience. The tweak is available for iOS 7 jailbroken iPAds so if you have already upgraded to 7.1.1 you might have to wait for a while until a jailbreak arrives for the latest iOS 7.1.1.
The OS Experience Jailbreak tweak comes with a hefty price tag of $9.99 but the multitasking and Mac experience it brings to iPad justifies its high price. At present the OS Experience is available at Cydia for $9.99 and it works with iPads with iOS 7 installed.
