In last one month we have seen so much of development in the wearables sector of the technology world. Big names like Google, Samsung, Motorola and LG have been making headlines for their accessories gadgets, but Panasonic comes as a dark horse when it makes announcement of its 4K wearable camera.
The Japanese giant has announced its latest creation that can shoot 4K video at 25 frames per second with keeping your hands free and giving your video a point of view (PoV) feel.
Panasonic claims that its new HX-A500 is world first wearable camera that can record videos of such quality with so much of convenience.
Although there are some good wearable cameras already available in the market, HX-A500 looks to be something that you can use for different use at different locations.
The new camera comes in two parts – the camera body and the monitor unit. The camera body has the camera sensors where as the monitor unit has all the control buttons and a 1.5 inch LCD monitor to see or play back the recording.
The camera comes with all kinds of accessories required to mount it on your head or clip it to you body to record extreme videos during your adventure sports or steep trek.
HX-A500 can also shoot 1920 x 1080 footage at 50 frames per second and 848 x 480 at 200 frames per second. The camera becomes more useful and exciting as it is a waterproof and dustproof unit.
The Panasonic product, which was first shown during this year’s CEC, can stay under 10 feet of water for about 30 minutes.
Release date of the camera has not been revealed yet but according to recent news, it is going to make its way into the UK market somewhere in May for whopping 380 pounds.
