WhatsApp, the popular messaging app that has over 350 million users has finally received updates to match the new iOS7 design in Apple devices. The update was long time coming as most applications on App Store quickly altered their display and features to take full advantage of Apple’s new operating system which became public in October.
The Updated WhatApp design has increased the size of images that shows in the feed and it now lets you save your chats to your cloud data.
When you update the app it asks you whether you want to save your chats to your cloud space or not and you can choose according to your preference. This feature allows you to keep all your chat history safe in Apple’s cloud space in case you lose your phone or refurbish it.
The updated Whatsapp app has a cleaner look that matched iOS7 style along with added features that allows to do bulk massaging. This new version has a feature called broadcast list that lets you create groups from your contact like close friends, friends, family, colleges etc. Now, whenever you want to send a message to the whole group you can do so by selecting a group from your broadcast list.
Another welcoming change in the app is it lets you crop an image before sending it to someone. It’s a small change but it will cut off a trip to other image editor and we can already see thousands of people appreciating the addition.
