As the world is gearing up to welcome ‘The Next Big Thing’ from Samsung, Korean company is increasing the amount of hints related to the Galaxy S6 smartphone. Latest in the series comes from American mobile carrier T-Mobile and AT&T.
T-Mobile has teased an image of a new device from Samsung with a punch line ‘Six Apeal’ throwing enough hint of Samsung Galaxy S6. The device pictured in the poster looks a well designed smartphone packed in an all metallic chassis.
AT&T has posted a similar picture of the device with same catch line, but in this poster the Galaxy S6 is shown in blue colour. The poster also bears ‘Spring 2015’ that basically suggest the time when Galaxy S6 will be available for customers.
American fans of Samsung Galaxy S6 are expected to get their hands on the new smartphone around mid- or late-March. However, as so many different carriers are pitching for the Galaxy S6, people will have to wait for their carrier to get the consignments of the Galaxy S6.
As far as Indian market is concerned, there is no official word about the availability of the Galaxy S6. However, a latest report from IBN Live suggests that the device might make its way to Indian customers by second week of April. The report also says that the pre-booking for the device will start soon after its March 1 launch. There was no mention of the availability of Galaxy S6’s curvy sibling, the Galaxy S6 Edge. But we assume that Samsung is going to release both the versions of the Galaxy S6 together, just like it is going to do in the Western market.
The Galaxy S6 is expected to come with a 5.1 inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels. The device will be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 7420 quad-core processor clocked at 1.9 GHz. The RAM might be kept at 3 GB and the internal storage be divided in 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB versions.
The camera of the Galaxy S6 can also stun people as it is said to have a 20 megapixel censor with optical image stabilization, face detection and auto focus features. The primary camera will be accompanied by an LED flash light. The secondary camera is expected to be of 5 megapixel.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 will run Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
