As the Mobile World Congress 2015 is coming near, rumours and hints related to Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone are increasing.
The newly leaked images of Galaxy S6 smartphone suggest that the South Korean tech giant is following its rival Apple very closely. The design shown in the purported images of Samsung Galaxy S6 suggest that the looks of the Galaxy 6 are highly influence by Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
According to new leaked shots from a French website called No Where Else, the Samsung Galaxy S6 is going to have curved round edges and a slim body like iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
Apart from the curved edges, the images also indicated towards a micro-USB port and microphone and speaker integrated on the bottom edge.
The present leak makes the rumours related to the Samsung Galaxy S6 stronger as the release date of Galaxy S5’s successor is nearing. Samsung is planning to unveil the smartphone in Mobile World Congress which going to be held from March 2 in Barcelona.
Leaked specifications of Galaxy S6 suggest that the device is going to come with a five inch SAMOLED display with an expected resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. The smartphone is going to be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 7420 octa-core processor which is clocked at 1.8 GHz. The Exynos 7420 is manufacture by the 20 nano metre processor and is going to feature 64-bit architecture.
The internal memory of the Galaxy S6 will be limited to 32 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB and a whopping 3 GB of RAM will back the device’s performance.
Going by Android experience and Samsung’s performance, we are not really sure that the device will run smooth after some months of use.
The camera department of the smartphone seems to be pretty promising as rumours suggest a 20 megapixel camera landing on the back of the Galaxy S6 and a 5 megapixel shooter appearing on its front.
Another leaked report related to the upcoming Samsung flagship device talks about the colour options which are not very different from the Korean company’s earlier S series devices. If the report really holds some potentials, the Galaxy S6 is going to be available in four colours — dark blue, gold, white, and blue-green.
Though all the specifications look very promising, we will have to take all of them with a pinch of salt as Samsung has not revealed any of these officially like it always does.
