Just weeks after showcasing its fresh Flip PC lineup at CES in Las Vegas Sony has launched its new additions to the hybrid laptops in India. The new additions 13, 14 and 15 inch Flip PC continue to have a high price point like the older model of the series.
Among the three the 14 inch model cost the least as it costs around Rs 94,990 while the 13 inch model comes at Rs 99,990 and the biggest of all 15 inch model top the case with the whopping cost of Rs 1,04,990.
The VAIO flip Pc lineup is a makeover of traditional PC as it can switch between PC, Tablet and Viewers Mode. The 13 inch and 14 inch Flip PC models come with full HD display of 1920X1080 IPS while the 15 inch model sports boost up display of 2880X1620 IPS.
The fresh flip PC line up sports the Fourth generation Intel core processor with i3, i5 or i7 and the 14 inch models has Pentium 3556U. The bigger 15 inch Flip PC also gets an extra shot of graphics with Intel HD 4400 or NVIDIA GeForce GT graphic card.
All three models are decked with Sony’s Exmor R HD camera but the 13 inch model also get an 8MP Exmor RS rear camera which explains why it has been priced higher than 14 inch Flip PC. Sony also claims that it has enhanced quality of sound in its fresh models which might excite movie streamers and online gamers.
The 13 inch, 14 inch and 15 inch model are also equipped with Active Pen and detachable magnetic keyboard which come with wireless technology.
According to Sony all three models will feature Genuine Windows 8 or Windows 8 Professional. The 14 and 15 inch model could support up to 8 GB RAM while the 15 inch model can have up to 16 GB RAM. The new Flip PCs come in two color options of shiny silver and black.
