Body & Design:
Samsung Galaxy S5 has a tradition plastic body with a design twist that has pop of color and leather like feel. On the other hand Sony and HTC both come with metallic body that look sturdier but the dropdown gorgeous Xperia Z2 overshadows slightly masculine HTC One M8.

Display:
The latest Sony flagship Xperia Z2 top the big screen battle with whopping 5.2 inch full HD display compare to 5.1 inch full HD screen in Galaxy S5 and 5 inch full HD display in One M8. All three android flagship models sport 1920X1080p full HD display. Sony has dressed its display with its own TRILIMUNOUS technology while Samsung and HTC sport Super AMOLED and Super LCD display comparatively.
Camera:
Sony smartphone sale rides on its smart and high megapixel camera and Xperia Z2 delivers to the expectations. It has 20.7 megapixels camera with dozens photographic apps and auto correct features. On the other hand Samsung has also pumped up its camera section with 16 megapixels camera and dedicated photo apps.

HTC One M8 took a totally different approach to the camera with its unique dual cameras technique that has dial 4 MP cameras and dual LED flash for better pictures in the dark. HTC claims its new dual camera technology to work better that rival Sony and Samsung’s camera but perhaps Samsung and Sony experience in digital camera industry give them advantage here.

Hardware/Software/RAM:
All three smartphone run on latest Android 4.4 KitKat and have their UI running on top of Android system. In the hardware section One M8 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset and quad core 2.5GHz processor Sony Xperia Z2 is also powered by the same chipset but has 2.3 GHz processor. Samsung dominate this segment withAdonis Prime2 (Quad 1.9GHz + Quad 1.3GHz) processor that is undoubtedly a monster processor.
Galaxy S5, HTC One M8 and Xperia Z2 all come with 16 GB internal memory (32GB model also available) and micro SD slot. The extended memory slot in all three smartphones support up to 128 GB memory. In the RAM segment Galaxy S5 and One M8 have 2 GB RAM while Sony has puffed RAM to 3 GB.
Sony Xperia Z2 recently arrived in India at the RS 49,900 price tag same as HTC One M8 while Samsung Galaxy S5 has the starting price of 51,500.
