
Goggle’s Glass has been around for a while but we often come across the question that why would anyone want to pay 1500 for a pair of glasses that doesn’t even look fancy? Well first of all Google glass is not glasses even though it may look like one. It is a face computer designed by Google and given the name Glass. Although many of us may know little to none about face computer before the announcement of Google Glass it is not the first such device. The spy glasses that we see in movies and Sci-Fi TV shows have existed in reality since years but never became popular in the public. But the social media tycoon Google Inc created its first face computer it became a sensation in a day.
As we know Google always make sure to put a special Google touch on its every creation the Google Glass too posses some unique features which are nowhere to be found in other compatible devices.
What is Google Glass?
Google glass is pretty much like a smatphone that you can wear on your head only lighter. Its adjustable frame is made with titanium metal and has a small prism and mobile computer on the right side. The 5 mega pixel camera, speakers and battery are also located on the right side of Glass.
How Does It Work?
The tiny mobile computer that powers Glass lets you sent mail, messages, chat and take photos and videos. Google Maps shows you direction to drive or walk. Of course, it has Google Search and smartphone it makes phone calls as well. But that’s not all Glass can also translate your voice in different language.
Why Glass?
Who would have thought that the Star Treck kind of gadgets can be a part of everyday life until Glass came in Limelight? Glass is just not yet another product it is a revolutionary technology that could be the biggest innovation after mobile phones. The starting price of Glass is $1500 but we believe Google might make Glass more affordable down the road. But those who want to get their hands on this unique product as soon as it arrives in the market $1500 may not be that high after all.
Don’t forget that the current samples of Glass are just the testing samples the customer version is suppose to have many additional features for social networking and intuitive design.
