In the world of smart economical tablets Microsoft‘s Windows RT is having tough time surviving against intelligent tablets. The company is working its way to make Windows RT 8.1 a success story. In one such efforts Microsoft has tied up with Qualcomm to provide their flagship Snapdragon 800 processor with special features.
The newly designed processor for Windows RT 8.1 will have integrated multimode 3G/4G LTE modem and 2.2 GHz speed. The new version of Windows RT with Snapdragon 800 is estimated to hit the market by the end of 2013. The company will also free upgrade for current RT users by the end of this year.
We hope the new Snapdragon 800 will make Windows RT 8.1 speedy and its sleek fan less design will give the tablet much needed chic look.
