Samsung’s high-end smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 Active and Galaxy S3 are getting the taste of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update across the world. But, the owners of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 are still waiting for their turn to share their new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean experience with their other counterparts.
Indian users of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 had a brief moment of happiness when they learned about a Jammu Kashmir guy getting the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updated on to his Samsung Galaxy Note 2 through Samsung service centre. However, the moment was short lived as the update was not available for long and for everyone.
According to a SamMobile report, Bhanu, a Jammu Kashmir resident got his Samsung Galaxy Note 2 updated to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean when he gave his phablet to the company’s service centre. Bhanu took to the micro blogging website Twitter to announce his achievement, but the account was later pulled off by the user.
Whatever the reason could have been behind the update and the damage control episode, one this is pretty clear here that the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update is ready for the Galaxy Note 2 devices and Samsung service centers also have access to it.
According to an earlier leaked document, Samsung is supposed to release the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy S4, S4 Active, S3 and Note 2 for major US carriers in October and November. And as the firmware updates for Galaxy S4 on Verizon and Sprint have already arrived according to the document schedule, we anticipate that Android 4.3 Jelly Bean will make its way to Galaxy Note 2 somewhere this month.
Samsung has already confirmed that Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 are going to get a Premium Suit firmware update that will land with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, Samsung Galaxy Gear support and Samsung KNOX security features.
Though most of the announcements and leaks are related to the US carriers and models, we anticipate that the release of the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware for Indian Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) will not take much time once it lands onto the US model.
