As Apple is nearing the beginning of the iPhone 6 production process, the rumours related to the upcoming iconic device from the Cupertino-based tech company are gaining momentum.
To be the latest one in the series, purported images of iPhone 6 have surfaced over the Internet and many believe that the pictures are leaked directly Foxconn’s manufacturing unit.
The pictures were released on a Chinese social media website, Weibo, and show the aluminum back panel of a silver colour iPhone.
A combination of three pictures show the phone on a computer screen and in other two images the dimensions of the smartphone’s different portions are described.
“Allegedly, the pics are coming straight from a Foxconn insider, and as you can see, both the live pics and the phone’s sketch are indicating that Apple is at least testing a model with a protruding camera,” technology website G for Games reported
If the images are of a real iPhone then Apple is somewhere near to fulfill its promise of bringing out a slimmer and lighter iPhone which can be called iPhone Air.
The images show a slimmer and round-edged product somehow similar to HTC’s iconic device HTC One.
So far, the rumours had been about the display and the size of the device, and this is the first time when alleged pictures of iPhone 6 have appeared.
Meanwhile, other reports suggest that the production of 4.7 inch displays for iPhone 6 is going to get underway by next month but Apple is facing a really hard time to manage the issues related to the larger sibling of iPhone 6’s display.
Tech pundits are predicting that Apple is going to bring out two different variants of the iPhone 6 with one being at 4.7 inch display while the other one will be a mammoth from Apple with a 5.5 inch display.
