Rockstar Games is making headlines almost every day because of the new update and other developments related to the Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5). However, this time the happy news is coming for the users of PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One.
Rockstar Games has indicated that the Grand Theft Auto 5 is getting prepared for a makeover as soon as March 2015.
Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, after its this year’s financial results said that the company is gearing up for a game release that will be for next generation consoles.
Strauss Zelnick, the Take-Two Interactive CEO, said, “We’re excited about what [Rockstar] have in store for the new generation of systems this fiscal year.” It is not a tough task to decode what kind of consoles Zelnick is hinting at.
It is quite clear that Rockstar is preparing its best game, Grand Theft Auto 5, to release on Xbox One and Play Station 4 and the job will be done before the end of this fiscal year.
Take-Two posted 94 percent revenue growth for the fiscal year 2013-14 and according to the company, major contribution in the $2.214 billion revenue comes from Grand Theft Auto series.
The Grand Theft Auto 5 reached $1 billion in sales faster than any entertainment release in history.
With this year’s E3 conference fast approaching, the hint coming from Zelnick has made the gaming enthusiast more excited about company’s plans.
Meanwhile, Mircrosoft has given one Xbox One fans one more reason to enjoy as it announces a new version of Xbox One consoles.
There is nothing big changed in the Xbox One but the console will now be available for $399 without Kinect from June 9. Xbox One with Kinect will continue to be available for $499.
