Upgrade via iTunes:
If you want to save yourself some time you can upgrade your device on a computer that already has iTunes installed. If you don’t have the latest version of iTunes you might not get the software update thus first make sure you have iTunes version 11.1 installed in your PC.
Click on iTunes and then look for updates, the latest version of iOS will pop up at the front. Before you click on the update tab look below to the backup option, selct your device and click on backup. Now you are ready to upgrade, just click on the download option above and you have got new Software.
