Unique is not a rare word in the technology world as almost every enterprise screaming the word to define their product quite often. But Amazon has indeed done something totally different to earn the word unique for its first smartphone entry ‘Fire’ that has 3D like display which Amazon calls as Dynamic Perspective.
3D Like Dynamic Perspective
This Dynamic perspective gives Fire users a 3D view of their phone’s display without the need of 3D glasses which is truly a one of a kind feature in a smartphone. The revolutionary display really works like a charm thanks to 4 dedicated cameras in the device that are designed to understand position of the head of a user. These 4 cameras study the movement of user’s head and phone’s display moves with user’s head to give 3D like feel.
Hardware and Software:
Amazon Fire smartphone looks a lot like iPhone with its 4.7 inch HD display, dual stereo and Dolby Digital audio. It sports 2.2 GHZ quad-core processor coupled with 2 GB RAM. It has 13 megapixels primary camera with optical image stabilization and 1080p video recording. Fire come loaded with a lot of Android Apps and supposedly runs on latest Android OS.
MayDay and FireFly:
Amazon has put consumers first with its debut smartphone as it puts two of most consumers’ friendly MayDay and FireFly technologies in ‘Fire’. FireFly is Amzon’ voice recognition system that identifies printed texts on images, posters, movies, songs, DVDs and over 70 million items so you can make most of latest technology.
Second prominent feature is MayDay which is simply a free live technical support that can draw on your device to guide you solve an issue. The feature is also available on Amazon’s tablet Kindle Fire HD.
The smartphone is going to be an At&T exclusive at $199 on 2 years contract for US users but Amazon has also listed it for $649 without any contract. Amazon Fire smartphone will be available from 25 July onwards but you can preorder it from Amazon’s website.
