Instagram one of the most popular photo editing and sharing app has introduced five new and creative filters to the application to add more drama and style in dull pictures. The addition is first after December 2012 when Instagram introduced two new filters named Mayfair and Willow. Moreover the app gets a makeover with an updated design and new the filter management features.
The long awaited new features are inspired by photography trends around the world and will provide vast options for amateur photographers.
“Inspired by the photography, art, fashion and design of the global Instagram community, we are releasing five new filters that we believe are our best yet. You’ll see the fliters at the front of your tray: Slumber, Crema, Ludwig, Aden and Perpetua.” Read Instagram’s official blogpost.
All five new filters soften the tones and gradually change colors of pictures to achieve that perfect look you desire. And if you haven’t figured out what those new filters names mean here is how they look in pictures.
The new update also allows you to see a preview of the filtered image as a blurred image at the bottom when you select the filter. The freshly introduced “Manage Button” enable you to re-arrange your filter tray and let place your favorite filters and on top and hide the once you rarely use.
To see the new filters you have to upgrade to Instagram’s latest version which means you should running Instagram iOS version 6.4.0 or Android 6.12.0 version to take advantage of these new changes. Both versions are available to download on Apple App Store and Google Play Store starting today.
