As Samsung prepare the market for its second generation smartwatch the Korean major has slashed the price of original Galaxy Gear by 30%. The smartwatch which was first launched for 22,990 is now available for only Rs 15,290.
This is the second deduction within the period of one month after the Galaxy Gear was launched in India last year. Samsung had cut down the price of its smartwatch from 22,990 to 19,075 on 21st January but due to cold response it has been further reduced to Rs 15,290.
Although Samsung had been claiming that its smartwatch Galaxy Gear has received a warm response worldwide critics think otherwise.
For months after its launch the Smartwatch was just running apps provided by Samsung which upset a lot of customers and it lost the word o mouth publicity.
However things changed a bit after Galaxy Gear started running many useful apps from Google Playstore in mid November 2013. But by that time Samsung was ready with the second version of the Smartwatch.
If you have the itch to own a piece of cool technology that you could show off, the Galaxy Gear could be worth a shot.
