Motorola has started rolling out the latest version of Android’s KitKat operating software – Android 4.4.4 KitKat for Indian versions of Moto X, Moto G and Moto E.
Users of Moto G in India gave us about the latest updated, which is landing on Moto G devices over the air. If you own a Moto G and have not got intimated about the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update, you should check Settings>About Phone>System Updates.
The new update comes with build number KXB21.14-L1.40 for Moto G and brings a list of new features including an updated phone dialler application, ability to pause recording and the Motorola Alert application.
As this update is a minor firmware update, expecting major changes for it will not be a good idea. However, there is a good amount of bug fixes and performance enhancement including improved battery life.
It’s not only Indian customers of Moto G, American owners of the device enjoying Verizon services have also been surprised by the unannounced arrival of Android 4.4.4 KitKat update on the Moto G devices.
Android 4.4.4 KitKat seems to be last KitKat firmware update for the Moto G device as Google is expected to make the official release of Android L in next couple of months.
