Just days before the expected launch of Samsung Galaxy S5 in the upcoming MWC event the most talked about smartphone of recent time made a quite appearance in AnTuTu.
The database of this Android benchmark app that is designed to rank smartphone as per their features and this mystery smartphone top the ranking chart. After evaluating the smartphone in various categories AnTuTu has ranked it at 33666 score which is higher than any other smartphone including Galaxy Note 3 and Sony Z1 Ultra.
Although in the whole database the name Samsung Galaxy S5 does not appear even once but hints like 16 megapixel camera, Android 4.2.2 are close enough to match it with S5.
In the AnTuTu benckmark report the smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 800 processor along with Adreno 330 graphics. The camera section shows 16 megapixels rear facing camera coupled with 2.1 megapixel front facing camera which would be an upgrade.
The database shows 1.7 GB of free RAM space which also indicate that it is a Samsung model probably sporting total 3 GB RAM. As in most Samsung smartphone half of the RAM is often occupied with default apps which are developed by Samsung.
However, AnTuTu has listed the smartphone with a 1080p display with no mention of total screen size which seems bizarre. Although the current model shows Snapdragon 800 as processor which also powers top models like Note 3, Xperia Z1 and LG G2 but Galaxy S5 may get to Snapdragon 808 before the expected launch.
In earlier rumors and leaks it was said that Galaxy S5 will have 2K display of (2,560×1,440) QHD on 5.25 inch screen which could be a part of the finished product of Galaxy S5.
Perhaps, AnTuTu has ranked a testing version of Galaxy S5 and Samsung will pump up the specs once it get set to launch it at MWC in Barcelona starting from Feb 24.
