As Samsung Galaxy S5 is making its way into different markets across the world, rumours related to Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom, the next version of Korean company’s smartphone-camera hybrid, are gaining momentum.
To add to the list, the recent ‘information’ related to the successor of the Galaxy S4 Zoom is coming from a very shady website that claims to be showing the first shot of the Galaxy S5 Zoom.
The leaked picture shows the front of the back of the smartphone with a mammoth camera sensor and an LED flash light.
The credibility of the website is highly suspicious as it has got nothing else to offer. When we visited the URL, the visit counter placed at the bottom of the webpage showed only about 4,700 hits.
However, whatever the website’s credibility is, we have got to see the first picture of the Galaxy S5 Zoom.
This is not the first time rumours related to Galaxy S5 Zoom have surfaced. Last month a report from Phone Arena had described the device’s specifications based on a benchmark test.
According to report, the Galaxy S5 Zoom is going to come with a robust 19 megapixel camera which is going to be the key strength of the smartphone. The Galaxy S5 Zoom is listed with model number SM-C115 and expected to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 5 Hexa processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. The CPU is going to be supported by a hefty 2 GB RAM with the internal storage capacity being limited to 8 GB. But there will always be the option of extending it to 64 GB with the help of a microSD card.
When it comes to the front-facing camera, Galaxy S5 Zoom seems to be just like other Galaxy devices as it has a 2 megapixel camera, and obviously that is more than enough for the purpose of video chatting.
The screen of the mammoth shooter is going to be 4.8 inch with 1280×720 pixel display. The device is going to run nothing less than Android 4.2.2 KitKat out of the box.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom is going to be ahead of its predecessor in every aspect.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom comes with a 4.3 inch screen with 540×960 pixel display. The device is powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and supported by 1.5 GB of RAM. The smartphone sports a 16 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera.
The storage is just like the Galaxy S5 Zoom with internal storage capacity being limited to 8 GB which can be extended till 64 GB with the help of a microSD card.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom is available for Rs 26,380 on Amazon while it can be order for Rs 23,999 and Rs 21,999 from Flipkart and eBay India respectively.
