Samsung might be months away from launching its next Galaxy S flagship phone but specs rumours of the new Galaxy S6 are already buzzing the online world. If rumours are to believe then we will see a lot of design changes and pump up specs in the upcoming Samsung flagship. Apparently, Samsung has taken cues from cold market response of Galaxy S5 and is currently busy launching better designed variants of S5.
Switch from 2K to 4K Display:
If we go by Samsung’s official statement in early 2014 we should see the South Korean giant rolling out devices with 4k display in 2015. But we wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see it in Galaxy S6. Since Samsung usually launches Galaxy S flagship in the first quarter of every year, it would be hard for the electronic major to manufacture such display by the end of 2014. Although you can definitely expect a big boost in display if not 4k then definitely a Note 4 like display of 2560X1440p .
Although rumour mills have been churning gossips about 4k display in the Samsung flagship we believe it’s more likely to come in the Samsung flagship phablet.
Jump from 2GB RAM to 4GB RAM:
We have seen introduction of 3 GB RAM in big screen Note series and rumours have it that Samsung is going to go bold in terms of RAM and deck up next flagship with whopping 4 GB RAM. If that happens there is no two opinions about it that Galaxy S6 would be one killer Android machine.
20 Megapixels Camera:
Samsung has almost made it a ritual to dress up its latest Galaxy S series with pumped up camera and there is no doubt that Galaxy S6 will come in the same line. Tech pundits are expecting the Korean major to deck up the new camera with 20 MP sensor and advanced photo editing tools.
Android Lollipop, 810 Chip:
Although Samsung has long been rumoured to adopt its own OS Tizen but most probably the surprise is not due in Galaxy S6. You are most likely to see the next Galaxy S flagship running on latest Android Lollipop. The device is expected to sport Snapdragon 810 chipset and an upgrade in the current 2800 mAh battery to boost power.
Samsung is expected to release its new Galaxy S6 flagship in March 2015 most likely at the Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona from 2-5 March.
