It seems the rumors about Eye Scanner in next Samsung Galaxy flagship weren’t mere rumor after all, as Samsung teases eye scanner technology security feature on its Twitter page. If eye scanner sounds familiar to you that’s because the security technology was long rumored to be a part of Samsung Galaxy S5 that as we know all know it didn’t make to S5.
Now a twitter account Samsung Exynos posted a picture of eye scanner technology that will allow Samsung users to unlock accounts with their eyes. The tweet has a hashtag #ExynosTomorrow and it reads “Security can be improved using features unique to us. That’s what we envision. What would you use?”.

The tweet is a clear indication that Samsung’s future lab has created an eye scanning technology which will be used in the upcoming Galaxy lineup. Since Galaxy Note 4 is the “Next Big Thing” coming out from Samsung’s factory we expect the eye scanner technology to lend in the much awaited phablet. According to the Twitter picture posted by Samsung Exynos suggest that the eye scanner will enable users to pay bills by bio-metric authentication. Currently Galaxy S5 also uses finger print scanner as bio-metric feature to access users PayPal account.
Finger print scanner might be easy and more secure way to access important accounts on smartphone but security experts have found many loop holes in the feature. If Samsung will be able to do the retina scanner right it sure will become the top company to integrate bio-metric authentication into the smart world.
The Korean electronic giant is expected to announce its flagship Phablet Galaxy Note 4 in IFA 2014 which is going to be held in Berlin coming September.
