Apple Inc. has been busy in the making of smartphone of the year, iPhone 6. And until the successor of the iPhone 5S is unveiled, the tech world on the Internet will keep gossiping about the upcoming smartphone product from the Cupertino-based tech giant.
There have already been rumours that Apple will be releasing two versions of the iPhone 6 just on the lines of iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, and there will be difference between the display size of the phones. But a new report is going to iPhone fans really happy because if it turns out to be accurate, the users of iPhone 6 and the other version getting unveiled along with it will not have to carry bulk for a bigger display.
According to a report from Korea Herald, Apple is planning to bring in bezel-less display for the smartphone being readied for this year’s release. If the new iPhone comes without bezel, the users will get more space for display without adding extra weight to the device.
The report also adds that iPhone 6’s edge-to-edge display will also have the ability of fingerprint scanning and will work as the fingerprint scanner too.
The full screen fingerprint scanner will pave way for the removal of the physical home button Apple has been placing at the bottom of every iPhone.
Other reports about the iPhone 6 and its features suggest that Apple is going to release one 4.7 inch iPhone as the successor of iPhone 5C and another powerful handset with 5.5 inch display that will succeed the iPhone 5S.
Other technical specifications are still unknown as the fruit company has always been very secretive about the details of its products. But, tech pundits suggest that the iPhones are going to be powered by Apple’s A8 SoC processor.
When it comes to the unveiling of the devices, Apple is going to showcase the two new iPhones running iOS 8 somewhere in the month of September this year.
