The low budget and big on features smartphone Moto G from the Motorola Mobility is the latest buzz in the India tech market. Moto G arrived in India last week with the price tag of just Rs 12,499 and became an instant sensation.
The response for Moto G has been nothing but overwhelming as the smartphone went out of stock within half an hour after its launch. But this small budget wonder may not be the ruler of the market just yet. Join us as we take a look at the other mighty smartphone which give tough fight to Moto G.
Nokia Lumia 720
Windows Phone Nokia Lumia 720 has 4.29 inch display screen and it sport 6.7 megapixels main camera coupled with 1.3 megapixels front camera. It runs on Windows 8 of course, and has 1 GHz processor to power the phone.
The android operated Moto G costs around 12,500 rupees while the Windows based Nokia Lumia costs around 17,000. Whether its price or specs Moto G is all over Nokia Lumia 720 besides the camera segment perhaps.
Micromax Canvas Turbo Mini:
Our own Desi mobile maker Micromax has recently launched a mini version of Canvas Turbo which is our pick to fight Moto G. The Micromax Canvas Turbo Mini A200 has slightly bigger screen than Moto G which measures 4.69 inch.
It has the same display resolution of 720X1280 as Moto G does. What is poor though is the 4 GB storage space that comes with phone. However you can get that fix by getting a Micro SD card as the mini supports up to 32 GB. On the other hand in Moto G what you got is what you have no micro SD slot is a weak link in the budget Moto.
Another update comes in the camera section where turbo mini offers 8 MP back camera and whopping 5 megapixels camera in the front. It runs Android 4.2 out of the box and has a price point of 14,500.
