Apple is gearing up for the release of its next iPhone – the iPhone 6 – release in the month of September, but Apple Inc’s biggest rival, Samsung, also seems to be in mood of bringing out a flagship smartphone.
The new entry from the South Korean tech giant will most probably dubbed as Samsung Galaxy F or Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime.
If we go by the fast churning rumor mill, Samsung Galaxy F is going to be the device’s name and it will be launched to lock horns with Apple’s iPhone 6 as there is no other player showing the caliber of giving Apple any competition at the launch of its new products.
The Samsung Galaxy F was being looked at by the Galaxy fans to fulfill their dream of getting their hands on a metal body or a premium finish Galaxy smartphone. However, a new report from GSM Arena that shows a leaked snap of the purported Samsung Galaxy F in a half metal chassis.
The device looks completely like the Samsung Galaxy S5 except the brim of the smartphone. The border of the Samsung Galaxy F or Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime looks to be a metal work or a plastic piece with aluminium paintjob.
The Samsung Galaxy F is expected to arrive with 5.1 inch QHD display, Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor and whopping 3 GB of RAM.
Though Samsung has said that there won’t be a more powerful model of Galaxy S5, all the rumours related to Galaxy S5 Prime or Samsung Galaxy F make it ahead of the Galaxy S5.
The Galaxy S5 Prime is also expected to sport a mammoth 16 megapixel rear-facing camera with Samsung’s ISOCELL technology.
Gaming enthusiasts are going to be very excited about the Galaxy S5 Prime as it is said to be using Adreno 420 GPU which is a higher version of Adreno 330 GPU currently being used in Samsung’s Galaxy S5 smartphone.
Samsung looks to be gearing up the Galaxy F to give a tough competition to LG’s G3 smartphone apart from Apple’s upcoming iPhone 6.
