Popular desi mobile maker has launched a new smartphone Micromax Canvas Beat A114R in the country that is dedicated to music lovers and comes with Rs 9,999 price tag. The new Canvas Beat is loaded with dual 3D surround sound speakers and Micromax music app that lets you download unlimited music. The smartphone is exclusively available for Aircel network users.
Micromax Canvas Beat sports 5 inch (960X540) IPS display which is not HD quality but it is definitely a close call. The device packs powerful 1.2 GHz quad core processor and 1 GB RAM. It runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2 and come with 4 GB internal storage which can be expanded for up to 32 GB.
The smartphone features 8 megapixels rear camera with LED camera and 2 megapixels front camera for selfies and video chat. In the connectivity segment the device support 3G connectivity features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 and GPS tracker.
The device packs 1900 mAh battery that promises to last throughout the day for normal daily usage. Aircel is also providing freebies like 1 GB free 2G/3G data for a month, full talk time on Rs 130 recharge and with new Micromax Canvas Beat.

Micromax Canvas Beat packs a lot of promising feature and good speakers but disappoints with its comparatively older Android 4.2 Jelly bean software. However, most people buy Micromax smartphone for high specs the camera the Indian low budget market’s expectations has changed drastically after the entry of Motorola’s Moto G and Moto E which offer great set of latest software and hardware.
