Desi mobile maker Micromax is hoping to redefine ultra budget market with new entry Canvas Spark that offers better specs than Moto E for only 4,999. Unlike most budget models that still run on older Androids new Micromax Canvas Spark will be powered with Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Latest Android availability is one of things that makes Motorola’s budget beast Moto E a popular choice for Rs 6,999 combined with descent specs. Now that Micromax has put in Moto E’s unique selling point (Android L) in its 4,999 Rs phone and topped it with even better specs the Canvas Spark could become a lethal weapon to kill Moto E (2nd gen) sales.
In terms of overall specs the Micromax Canvas Spark sports 4.7 inch (vs 4.5” in Moto E) screen with 940X540 p display resolutions and coated with corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device packs 1.3 GHz MediaTek processor coupled with 1 GB RAM and comes with 8 GB internal memory. As expect a micro SD slot is also presented for expanding the internal memory for up to 32 GB.
The camera segment of Canvas Spark is where the smartphone shines in front of its rivals. The smartphone features 8 megapixels rear and 2 megapixels front camera that mocks Moto E’s 5 MP primary and secondary VGA camera. The device has a sleek body and weighs only 134 grams. The smartphone packs 2000 mAh battery to fuel the device. The smartphone is also loaded with standard connectivity features as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G support.
Micromax Canvas Spark is going to be exclusively available at e-commerce major Snapdeal from 29th April. If you want to get your hands on this budget beauty registration for the same will start from April 22 on Snapdeal.
