Many of us have been waiting for the new smartphone product from Google-Motorola that is rumored to be released this month. However, the release looks to be just a matter of a couple of days as some tech journalists have already received a invitation from Google for an undisclosed event.
According to a CNET report, senior tech journalist and podcaster Leo Laporte in his program ‘This Week in Google’ said that he has received an invitation from Google for an event being held on July 10 and 11.
The claim becomes more reliable when the podcaster says that the invitation has come directly from Motorola’s Guy Kawasaki. “He said we’d really like you to come down to the Google campus for an event — small group of journalists, 50 people, two groups; July 10th and July 11th… I’m thinking it’s the phone,” the report quoted him as saying.
The Moto X smartphone was rumored to be coming in October this year, but the new wave of rumors is going make Motorola fans really happy.
The Moto X is not going to be an outstanding smartphone with highly build features and hardware like it was earlier rumored to be coming with, instead the device is going to be a mid-range mobile phone.
The smartphone is now rumored to be coming with Snapdragon S4 Pro dual-core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz. According to some details published by renowned leakster @evleaks last month, the device will be supported by a 2 GB of RAM and have 16 GB of internal memory. The smartphone will sport a 10 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for video chat.
