Motorola devices have always made a number of headlines before they actually made their way to the market, and Motorola’s Moto G is doing the same.
Just days before its expected November 13 launch, Moto G is seen in leaked images once again. The device is apparently company’s key device to fulfill the demand of Moto X in the international market.
Renowned leakster @evleaks posted the recent picture of Motorola XT1032 aka Moto G just to make it more apparent that the release of Motorola’s one of the much awaited smartphone is just around the corner.
Motorola has already posted a teaser of the handset making it an officially announced product. However, before the company could go ahead with the official launch and take the veils of the device, it started appearing on e-commerce sites with prices and technical details.
Amazon UK had accidently put Motorola’s Moto G for £160 up on the website with an expected release date of November 13. The specifications of the smartphone were also shown but the official picture was something that the page was missing on. However, Amazon quickly realized its mistake and took the entire page down in just some hours.
It’s not only Amazon UK that went wrong in putting the Moto G up for grab, Tesco had also done the same. Tesco listed the device with a price tag of just £149 with even official pictures. But Tesco also realized its mistake later and directed the product link the home page in order to save its face.
The Moto G will feature a 4.5 inch 720 pixel display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass to save the screen from scratches. The smartphone is believed to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz.
The device is going to have a 5 mega pixel rear-facing camera and a 1.3 mega pixel front-facing camera. As far as the internal memory is concerned, 8 GB is going to be the storage space for the users but there is no clear mention of expandable memory and RAM of the Moto G.
The device will be running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box which will later be updated to Android 4.4 KitKat.
In the Indian market, the smartphone is expected to arrive with Rs 15,000 to Rs 16,000 somewhere.
