Samsung looks to be in sequel mood as it gets busy in bringing out successors of its mid-range Galaxy smartphones. Just days after launching Galaxy Grand 2, the Korean tech giant has launched an updated version of Galaxy S Duos as Galaxy S Duos 2 in the Indian market.
Android users in the Indian subcontinent mostly prefer something that suits their pocket and gives them maximum features and services and the Galaxy S Duos 2 is expected to be fit for the task.
Samsung has put the new smartphone on the shelves with a price tag of Rs. 10,999, which is way less than the price it brought in the Galaxy S Duos for.
The Galaxy S Duos was launched in the Indian market for whopping Rs 18,000 but the device’s performance forced the company to brought down the price drastically and the handset is now available for about Rs 9,5000.
The main difference between the Galaxy S Duos and the Galaxy S Duos 2 is the processor. The Galaxy S Duos 2 is powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz whereas the Galaxy S was powered by a single core processor clocked at 1 GHz.
Apart from the CPU everything in the Galaxy S Duos 2 is just like its predecessor.
