Samsung is going to launch its much awaited flagship model Galaxy S5 in India on Thursday March 27. The Korean electronic major has already sent invitations for the Galaxy S5 official launch event which is scheduled for Thursday.
It’s notable that though price details of Samsung Galaxy S5 would be announced March 27th in India the smartphone will only be available from April 11. The Date has been set to make Galaxy S5 available for purchase in various mobile markets across the world including India.
Samsung first launch its new high end model Galaxy S5 in the Mobile World Congress at Barcelona back in early February.

Galaxy S5 features 5.1 inch display screen that has the same resolutions of 1080X1920p Super AMOLED display as Galaxy S4. It comes with 16 megapixels camera with improved features to take full advantage of the increased megapixels. Galaxy S5 is powered by 2500 GHz quad core processor and has 3 GB RAM to give snappy performance while watching videos and playing games.
Galaxy S5 runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box which is the latest version of Android. On top of the Android sits Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI that has been brushed up for a cleaner look.
Galaxy S5 comes with water and dust proof features with IPS 7 rating for safety from spills and dusty encounters.
It remains unclear if Samsung will also launch its new smartwatches Galaxy Gear 2, Neo and fitness band Gear Fit at the event. All three new gears from were launched with Samsung Galaxy S5 at MWC around 2 months ago.
