Apple CEO Time Cook, who is on a trip to Germany, apparently revealed a crucial aspect of the upcoming Apple Watch during his visit to an Apple store in Berlin.
Cook was talking to a retail employee at the Apple store when he was overheard saying he wears his Apple Watch everywhere, including “in the shower”. This was revealed by iGen.fr whose reporter got this piece of information and joined the dots.
If this report is true, then we can expect the Apple Watch’s water resistance parameters going higher than what Apple announced with the specifications of the watch last year.
When Apple announced the Apple Watch in September last year, it was suggested that the watch can be used in rain or while washing hands. However, wearing the device in the shower was a clear No as the water resistance capacity of the wearable wasn’t up to that mark.
Cook’s latest ‘insight’ into the upgrade in the Apple Watch specification suggests that by the time the device is going to land in the market, we can see more changes and upgrades in the features of the wearable.
Apple is going to make the Apple Watch available for public in April.
As there is hardly a month left for the release of the device, the Cupertino company has started dedicating its time towards the advertising of the Apple Watch.
Apple had placed an advert in Vogue’s China edition late last year. The fashion magazine’s March edition is going to show Apple Watch in life size pictures as the iDevice maker places a 12-page ad in the latest edition of Vogue.
Apart from the lengthy print ad in Vogue, Apple is going to place a video ad in the magazine’s digital iPad version.
Vogue is not the only fashion magazine which is going to publish this luxury watch’s promotional pictures. US magazine Self is going to feature the Apple Watch on the cover page of its March issue. The cover will have supermodel Candice Swanepoel in a sports wear sporting the Apple Watch with a white wristband.
